- **Event Description**: Join us for an afternoon of music, community, and support at the Lyrics for Linda Benefit, a backyard-style fundraiser honoring the life of Linda Lou Roundy Landsverk and helping local families facing cancer.

Linda was a nurse who spent her life helping others. Even while battling breast cancer for nearly five years, she continued supporting people in the community almost until the very end. She loved live music, loved gathering people together, and was always the life of the party. This event celebrates her spirit the best way we know how: music, friends, food, and a whole lot of heart.

This year’s benefit will support Michael R. and Veronica M., two community members currently undergoing cancer treatment. While the event raises funds to help them with expenses, the bigger mission is to lift them up and remind them that their community is standing with them.

In its first two years, the Lyrics for Linda Benefit has raised over $21,000 for local families. Every dollar raised goes directly to the recipients.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and this event has sold out both previous years. Only 250 tickets are available this year and many are already spoken for.

Feel free to bring lawn chairs, shade tents, and your favorite beverages and settle in for a great day in the country.

The organizers are accepting donations of items, gift baskets, or cash for raffles and silent auction prizes.

100% of all proceeds go directly to the recipients.

This event is about more than fundraising. It’s about showing up for neighbors, celebrating Linda’s legacy, and reminding people facing cancer that they are not alone.
